Chris Bangle Associates – “Illustrate the Future”
Brief : Based on Chris Bangle’s fictional book Peter Teuful: A Tale of Car Design in three Parts, entrants must graphically realize the concepts Chris describes set 25 years into the future. Entrants will be judged on closeness to the original text, creative content and illustrative quality.
Prize : €2000 or a week at the CBA studio in Italy

Core77 Design Awards 2012
Brief : There are 17 prize categories for 2012, including Transportation. Entrants for this award must design a vehicle or mode of transportation used to get people or objects from one place to another, in any context (i.e. private, public, commercial or industrial use). It doesn’t get more laissez faire than this.
Prize : Core77 Design Awards Trophy (designed by New York studio Rich Brilliant Willing) and publication in the 2012 awards gallery.

Red dot Design Award – Product Design 2012
Brief : You’re opportunity to win the coveted “red dot”. The honor is aimed at those who would like to distinguish their business through design. The broad “Automobiles, transportation, commercial and water vehicles” category allows entrants interior and exterior design scope, as well as accessories and components.
Prize : The list is endless – PR and work, publication, an online exhibition and access to the global red dot community.

Dutch Design Week – The Green Design Competition
Brief : Two categories – one for design entrepreneurs already in the business, and one for those who are up-and-coming. The competition is to design a product and write a business plan that explains how your design contributes to sustaining biodiversity. It’s open to teams as well as individuals.
Prize : 1st prize is €25,000 for entrepreneurs and €15,000 for hopefuls, both will receive coaching and support.

Shell GameChanger – DRIVEN
Brief : DRIVEN – Design of Relevant and Innovative Vehicles for Energy Needs. This is your chance to show Shell, and the world, your ideas on how you address and solve some of the challenges facing the future of mobility through industrial design. Shell has chosen five cities that present unique challenges to future of mobility – can you design a vehicle that could be produced in the next 5-10 years for one of these locations?
Prize : $15,000 is prizes
